DIRECTIONS TO CARLETON HILL FISHERY
From M6 Jn42 take the A6 Penrith road. After exactly one mile take the first left turn signposted Cocklakes, Cotehill. After half a mile take the first right turn immediately after the large white house on the right. This is a single track concrete farm road and the entrance gate to the fishery and carpark is 200yds on the right.
Alternatively if coming via Warwick Bridge and Wetherall proceed through Wetherall to Cumwhinton. Just after the Post Office in Cumwhinton take the left turn signposted Stripes, Cotehill, Armathwaite. After approx 3/4 mile and immediately after Northwest Engineering take the right turn signposted Carlisle, Low Hesket. After just over 1/2 mile turn left by the cottage on the left and before large white house. Fishery entrance gate is 200yds along concrete farm road on right. Pull into Carpark. Put CA4 0BJ into www.multimap.com for aerial photographs.
